DEDICA (Journal of Research and Community Service) implements an Article Processing Charge (APC) policy to support the sustainability of the journal’s publication activities, including manuscript management, peer-review administration, editorial processing, website maintenance, digital archiving, and the dissemination of published articles through the open-access platform.
For each accepted manuscript, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge of USD 10. The APC is charged only after the manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and has been accepted for publication. The payment of the APC does not influence the editorial decision, as all manuscripts are evaluated solely based on their academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and compliance with publication ethics.
DEDICA maintains a transparent and fair APC policy. Authors are not required to pay any submission fee during the initial manuscript submission or peer-review process. The publication fee is applied only to manuscripts that have received final acceptance from the editorial team.
The APC supports essential publishing activities, including editorial management, coordination of the peer-review process, manuscript preparation, copyediting, proofreading, online publication, digital preservation, and continuous improvement of journal services. Through this funding mechanism, DEDICA aims to maintain a professional, accessible, and sustainable open-access publishing system.
Authors who experience specific financial difficulties may contact the editorial team for consideration regarding possible APC assistance or alternative arrangements. Any request for consideration will be evaluated fairly without affecting the quality assessment or editorial decision-making process.
By implementing this APC policy, DEDICA remains committed to providing high-quality open-access scholarly communication while ensuring that research and community service outcomes can be widely accessed and utilized by academics, practitioners, policymakers, and society.
