Peer Review Process
Every article submitted to JALLA Journal will be reviewed by a reviewer (single blind review). The decision whether the article will be published or not is determined by the editor forum based on comments from the reviewer. Plagiarism checks will be carried out with the help of Google Scholar and Turnitin System.

Manuscript processing time at JALLA Journal:

1. Authors have 15 days lead time for the first submission of the article, the section editor will decide whether the article needs revision or not.
2. The section editor takes 3 days to check the article based on theJALLA Journal author guidelines.
3. Authors have 12 days to revise the article according to the JALLA Journal writers' guidelines.
4. On revised articles given to the editors for review, the editorial team takes 15 days to complete the review.
5. If the article is rejected, the section editor has 3 days to inform the author of the editorial team's decision.
6. If the article needs revision, the editorial team will forward the article to a reviewer.
7. Reviewers have 30 days to review the article divided into two reviews and provide a decision, Accepted or Rejected.
8. The editorial team discusses the final decision in an editorial team meeting on whether the article recommended by the reviewer will be published or rejected. The editorial team has 20 days to make the final decision.
9. Articles to be published will be organized by section editors for 30 days.
10. Authors have 3 days to confirm the layout results.
11. Section editors publish accepted articles.
