Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the integration of Islamic values in learning on the formation of students' character, by highlighting the role of teachers, parental involvement, and the influence of the social environment. Apart from that, this research also examines the impact of an integrative curriculum based on Islamic characters on student learning motivation. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research was conducted in several Islamic schools that have implemented a curriculum based on Islamic values. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews with teachers, school principals and students, direct observation of learning activities, and analysis of school curriculum documents. The data obtained was analyzed thematically to identify patterns and relationships between research variables. The research results show that the integration of Islamic values in learning is more effective in shaping student character compared to methods that only focus on extracurricular activities. The role of teachers as models in teaching Islamic values as well as parental involvement in children's character education consistently increases understanding and application of Islamic values in everyday life. A supportive social environment is also proven to play an important role in strengthening the internalization of these values. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of synergy between schools, families and communities in creating an educational ecosystem that is conducive to the formation of Islamic character. Recommendations are given for more systematic curriculum development and increased training for teachers in implementing this integrative approach.
