This study focuses on the revitalization of academic supervision by madrasah principals to accelerate the quality of Islamic education. The background of the research is rooted in the urgent need to improve the quality of teaching and learning through the strategic role of principals, not merely as administrative leaders, but also as professional academic supervisors who guide teachers effectively. The objective of this study is to describe and analyze the forms, processes, and impacts of revitalizing academic supervision in the context of improving educational quality in Islamic senior high schools (madrasah aliyah). This research adopts a qualitative approach using a multisite case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation from three selected madrasahs through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed interactively through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the revitalization of academic supervision is carried out through structured planning, humanistic and participatory supervision implementation, and follow-up actions aimed at improving teachers’ pedagogical and professional competencies. The principal plays a pivotal role as an agent of change who fosters a culture of quality and continuous development within the madrasah environment. The implications of this research highlight the importance of enhancing the supervisory capacity of madrasah principals based on Islamic values and educational professionalism. Furthermore, this study encourages the formulation of adaptive and applicable supervision policies to meet the dynamic needs of Islamic educational institutions.
