This study focuses on analyzing strategies for optimizing Islamic education management at SMP Negeri 3 Banyuasin as an effort to improve the overall quality of education. The main objective of this research is to identify how the application of Islamic values in various aspects of school management can positively impact the holistic quality of education. The research employs a qualitative approach, incorporating literature reviews, participatory observations, and in-depth interviews with the school principal and teachers actively involved in implementing Islamic education programs. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively through stages of data reduction, narrative data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the optimization of Islamic education management at SMP Negeri 3 Banyuasin significantly contributes to improving educational quality. This is reflected in the increased average student academic performance, improved discipline, heightened learning motivation and attendance, as well as teachers’ positive perceptions of students' moral and character development. The implementation of Islamic values through school policies, habitual religious activities, and integration within the learning process has created a conducive learning environment. However, the study also identifies several challenges, such as limited student understanding, inadequate facilities, and the need to strengthen parental support. The implications of this study provide empirical justification for the effectiveness of Islamic education management in improving educational quality holistically, which could serve as a model for other Islamic educational institutions. The study also emphasizes the importance of school leadership, the active role of teachers, enhanced student understanding, adequate facilities, and collaboration with parents. Recommendations for future research include advanced statistical analysis, comparative case studies, broader research samples, and the development of more comprehensive instruments for measuring non-academic aspects.
